The City of Ventura

Ventura, officially the City of San Buenaventura, is a coastal city located north of Los Angeles and south of Santa Barbara.  It's a tourist destination and known for its beaches, long wooden pier, a beach walk, a quaint downtown with lots of shopping and restaurants and easy access to freeway 101.  Water activities are popular in Ventura including activities like surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, windsurfing, kayaking, harbor cruises, and whale watching.  Ventura Harbor Village is a great place to shop, eat freshly caught seafood and view artists showcase their original artwork.  Locals enjoy the moderate weather, the beach, and outdoor activities.
